Nalazi se 30 astronomskih jedinica od Sunca, \u0161to je zastra\u0161uju\u0107e daleko. Astronomska jedinica (skra\u0107eno AJ) iznosi 150 milijuna kilometara: toliko je, naime, Zemlja daleko od Sunca, \u0161to je uzeto kao standardna jedinica za mjerenje udaljenosti unutar sustava.<\/p>\n<p>Osim planeta, u Sun\u010devoj se orbiti nagurao \u010ditav niz drugih objekata, od kojih su najve\u0107i patuljasti planeti. Njih je do prije nekoliko dana bilo pet: Ceres, Pluton, Eris, Haumea, i Makemake, a toj kategoriji vjerojatno pripada i Sedna. Ovaj biv\u0161i planet (status planeta Plutonu je ukinut 2006. godine) ima vrlo elipti\u010dnu orbitu, stoga mu udaljenost od Sunca varira od 29 AJ u perihelu (kad je najbli\u017ee), odnosno 49 AJ u afelu (kad je najdalje od Sunca). V774104 nalazi se 103 AJ daleko i trenutno je dalje \u010dak i od Sedne, koja u afelu dosegne \u010dak 940 AJ.<\/p>\n<p>Promjer V774104 je izme\u0111u 500 i 1.000 kilometara, \u0161to je sli\u010dno promjeru Ceresa i Sedne (pribli\u017eno 1.000 km).
