Iako doti\u010dna baklja nije dosegla Zemlju, intenzivne erupcije na povr\u0161ini Sunca mogu ozbiljno utjecati na rad satelita u Zemljinoj atmosferi, ali i izazvati velike probleme u opskrbi elektri\u010dnom energijom na povr\u0161ini na\u0161eg planeta. Navedena fotografija snimljena je neposredno nakon \u0161to se letjelica spustila na Mars, 20. srpnja 1976. godine. Takvu je fotografiju uspjela snimiti svemirska sonda Cassini, uhvativ\u0161i svojim objektivom Zemlju i Mjesec s udaljenosti od 1,45 milijardi kilometara, iz neposredne blizine Saturna, \u010diji prstenovi dominiraju fotografijom.<\/p>\n<p>Ovakve fotografije iznimno je te\u0161ko snimiti, posebice s velike udaljenosti kao \u0161to je ova, a zbog toga \u0161to se Zemlja prividno nalazi jako blizu Suncu pa bi okretanje kamere u tom smjeru moglo ozbiljno ugroziti le\u0107e. Astronauti <strong>Frank Borman<\/strong>, <strong>Jim Lovell<\/strong> i <strong>William Andres<\/strong> ovu su fotografiju snimili nedugo nakon doleta Apolla 8 s tamne strane Mjeseca, na Badnjak 1968. godine.
