Nije bilo nikakvog pada meteorita na Zemlju, objasnili su istra\u017eiva\u010di u \u010dasopisu <em>Monthly Notices of the Royal Astronomical Society<\/em>. U pitanju je bio asteroid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Prema mi\u0161ljenju znanstvenika, ogroman metalni asteroid veli\u010dine izme\u0111u 100 i 200 metara pro\u0161ao je kroz atmosferu Zemlje na visini od 10 do 15 kilometara, a brzina kretanja iznosila je oko 20 kilometara u sekundi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Znanstvenici smatraju da se objekt nije mogao sastojati od kamena ili leda, jer njihova slaba \u010dvrsto\u0107a, za razliku od metala, dovodi do brzog uni\u0161tavanja takvih tijela prilikom kretanja u atmosferi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"634\" height=\"455\" src=\"https:\/\/geek.hr\/znanost\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/14\/2020\/05\/28025440-8287993-image-a-35_1588677190756.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-21053207\" srcset=\"https:\/\/geek.hr\/znanost\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/14\/2020\/05\/28025440-8287993-image-a-35_1588677190756.jpg 634w, https:\/\/geek.hr\/znanost\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/14\/2020\/05\/28025440-8287993-image-a-35_1588677190756-300x215.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 634px) 100vw, 634px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Ako se asteroid sastojao od \u017eeljeza, on je mogao sa\u010duvati strukturu i vratiti se u svemir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8221; Takav objekt mogao je izazvati udarni val koji je u stanju prouzrokovati pad drve\u0107a na teritoriju ve\u0107em od 1500 kilometara, a da pritom na povr\u0161ini Zemlje ne ostavi nikakve tragove&#8221;, pojasnili su stru\u010dnjaci.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Prolazak takvog asteroida kroz Zemljinu atmosferu mogao je izazvati po\u017eare, \u010diji uzrok je bilo svjetlosno zra\u010denje visokog intenziteta koju stvara svemirsko tijelo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tunguski fenomen dogodio se 1908. godine u blizini rijeke Podkamena Tunguska iznad \u0161umskog podru\u010dja u udaljenom dijelu isto\u010dnog Sibira.
